She had encountered her as soon as she arrived on the island, expectantly waiting for her, and had almost immediately grabbed her hand and begun to to pull her along up towards the summit.

Kn'ah looked at the guide for any indication of how things should begin, but the guide gave her no such signal. Kn'ah turned again to the water.

K'nah stood up and surveyed the waterside, but all that remained of the guide were C'cro stones.
K'nah was confused. Had not Eo promised guidance?
K'nah settled by the water and looked at the stones. They were arranged into twelve groups, including a long |C>[V'klik Tanaar], with a |B>[V'cor] at either end and a |A>[V'nah] aside the middle. Four |D>[V'cah] were arranged in a diamond patter at the edge of the board.
K'nah took this as a clear message and moved towards the |E>[lezat].
At the lezat, stood a tall statue of Eo. At his |F>[feet], K'nah spotted a round door [[glinting]].
