Kero
Personality
Kero is me if I wasn't nerfed by anxiety and impulse control. If you don't otherwise know my personality this description is useless, too bad for you :(
Lore
He's who him? His full name is 'The Honda Summer Savings Event'. But most of the time he goes by Kero. I used to also call this guy "Loaf" but now via mitosis that's become an entirely different fursona.
Kero arrived on Earth after his egg crashed into a Honda dealership. He certainly was the hottest hit of the summer. (his egg while falling through space reached a temperature of [LOOK UP WHAT A HOT TEMPERATURE IS] kelvin. woah mama!)
Every 50 years Kero dies and is reincarnated in a different dimension with no memories of previous lives, except random visions in dreams. Until then he just kinda wanders around and gets into mischief.
What species is he? Hell if I know. Just a creature.
Design
Kero's been my sona for a few years now. Even though I've been a furry since 8th grade, whenever that was, I only finally decided upon a sona when one of my friends sat me down and forced me to answer questions until I arrived at a design. What a great friend. She isn't even a furry (though she has a cousin who was a big popufur fursuiter who got cancelled for something that apparently isn't true. Neat!)
Fanart
Loaf
Design
Eventually the urge to be some kind of canine became irresistable and I designed another fursona that's more of a self-representation. Kero became too much of a character and not just "me" - ergo, Loaf. I tend to favor very simple designs to ensure my characters are easy for me to draw, haha. We've got one spot under the eye, and then the kinda moustache-y deal going on with the muzzle.
I have no idea what species Loaf is. Maybe a coyote / wolf mix, with some dragonic ancestry (b/c im so used to drawing kero that my canine snouts sometimes look slightly dragonic, haha)
Loaf is also the name I use for myself in furry spaces. A guy I ran into at a furry dance party misremembered my name as "bread, or toast, or something like that" which was funny.
Thoughts on Furry
Being a furry has always been deeply important to me for reasons I've never been able to adequately understand myself. It's inextricably tied up in my queer experience / identity. And it's weird that it's been such a big deal for so long, especially since only this past year have I been going to furry events in person. But I've always been the type of person to be very serious about very silly things, so it fits in with the rest of my personality.
Often on train rides I daydream about turning into a werewolf, but then my daydreams are disrupted by me theorizing what phonemes a wolf maw could make, strategies to avoid getting experimented on by the government, pretending to be a vtuber but actually just being a wolfboy... I feel like a parody of myself.
